reason: I've been I die-hard fan of Full Metal Panic for years and years... The series just ended in novel form, and I want to see it played out in manga, since the FMP manga has always been my favorite part of the franchise. I've studied Japanese for 6+ years and have a JLPT level-2 certification; I also live in Japan. I have confidence in translating, but I don't claim to be flawless. I think you guys are doing an amazing job with the manga, and I realized that up to volume 14 is out in Japan! I want to help put the chapters out faster so that we can all enjoy the story.

previous scanlation experience: Around 5 years ago, I was an editor for a few different manga groups. I was also a translator for about two months for a group that went belly up really fast. I'm relatively familiar with the scanlating process, although it's been a while.
