We're releasing an old MangaScreeners & Hawks project (Two of my favorite groups ever) in Homunculus. Big thank you to everyone who worked on in it in any shape or form, release was decided on short-notice but we pulled it off pretty well if you ask me.

Thank you to everyone who's applied as a proofreader. I'm extremely glad that some people want to help out. I don't need anymore proofreaders at the time. I am, however, still looking for QCers. Still have 3 chapters stuck on QC with nobody active enough to QC it. So, apply on the forums and we'll give you a test.

Also, while we're at it, I'll advertise a little.

A few Editors in this group have started a little "side-project" with members from various other groups (NCIS, Chibisuke-Scans, Bakayarou, others) to create a tutorial room called #cleaners on irc.irchighway.net (Same server as our irc room). This is not a request channel with editors at your disposal. This is a room with video tutorials to improve yourself as an editor or if you just want to learn how to do it properly. If you're an experienced editor and you want to help out the cause, PM one of the ops. If he isn't there, leave him some kind of way to contact you. Any help is appreciated.

After 2 and a half years, we have finally done Blood+. I'd like to give a big thank you to tokiyasama85 for translating the series all the way through. Also a big thank you to antifon & VyvyanWilde for doing a big part of the work on the last two volumes. I'd also like to thank everyone who did their part in the series. Hopefully Blood+ A won't take too much to complete :p

I don't know how, but there was a huge fuck up in Manhole 19 (Second page) and I can't explain it. It's all my mistake. I made a v2 of ch19, and included the fixed page in chapter 20. Anyway, enjoy chapter 20-21.

This concludes volume 3 of Mercenary Pierre. Only one more volume to go. We'd like to try to finish it soon,

My Street Chapter 01

Well, this is the project I said we'd be doing with RR after One Day ended. My Street is completely different from One Day in many senses. For starters, this is actually a story that continues for multiple volumes. The artstyle is also different; My Street has a "weird" look to it and is also alot less detailed. My Street is very good, and also very difficult to translate. I'd know, I translate it ._.

In any case, we promissed that we'd have 700 chapters released by 2009, and with these chapters we're at 707 chapters released. 2010 goal: 1,000!

I thought I should give you guys a project update for the projects that we didn't release.

Apple: Oneshot that just came out in Weekly Shounen Jump, we'll be doing that early this week (Assuming all goes well)

Eden: The translator (methanol) is currently too busy with real life commitments to be translating and illiteracy (The guy doing everything else on Eden) id MIA. I miss you illiteracy :(

Gantz: We started on volume 22 once upon a time, whether we actually end up finishing it any time soon is up in the air. We will finish it, though.

Heureka: The translator (Kyrie Eleison) is busy with real life commitments. So until she comes back, no Heureka.

Holyland: Our translator bailed, so we're stuck. Any translator out there want to continue the project?

Kamen Teacher: I'm not too sure what's going on. xip in NCIS was supposed to upload a chapter to QC for the Christmas release, but he hasn't logged on since the 20th. So I don't really know what's going to happen right now.

Karakuridouji Ultimo: Now that Takei Hiroyuki finished redoing his ending for SK, it was finally announced that this would become a serialization in Jump SQ. I haven't talked with the friendly people at Whatever if we were going to continue with the project or not. But we have a weeks to talk it over.

Oshitone Tenzen: We have translations coming soon, so there should be a release in the near-future, assuming all goes well.

REAL: We haven't scanned volume 8 yet, so not much work has started on it yet.

Sengoku: Still looking for a t/l check on the scripts.

Tista: We'll be redoing volume 1 with tankobons and doing volume 2 that way too. Expect volume releases.

Various Mandala oneshots: We have some translations, but the level of editing is much too difficult for the Editors we have now... So, illiteracy, if you're reading this... Did I mention I miss you? :(

With a few projects nearing the end, and which might end soon, by the way, we'll still have our hands busy. For example, with Oishii-Manga, when we're done Elfen Lied, we already have a new manga that we'll be working on together. Same goes for Izumo no Ryu. We're not going to pick something up for every project we finish, though.

Well, first of all, Merry Christmas to all of you. I hope you've had a good Christmas period (Unlike me, working almost 16 hours a day on scanlation o-o).

Well, including One Day 5-6, we're releasing the equivalent of 53 chapters. If I had an extra day (or even week) the amount would of been greater. :p

A lot of the chapters are things we've started working on at some point during the last few months that we're finishing. Some of which has been worked on and off for over a year, some was done in a 3 hour-span. Some I enjoyed thoroughly, some a little less. But all in all, they're one.

Before I announce the releases, I'd like to give a big thank you to antifon, Digital_Eon, Zenquibo, Nitouryu and all of the other staff that helped work on all of the chapters we're releasing today. You guys worked very hard on a lot of different things, and I sincerely thank you for it. If you want to add something to the post, tell me and I'll edit it `-')

I'd also like to give a big shout out to former staff who aren't around anymore. I still love [most] of you guys. Come on IRC and chat sometimes, will ya? Especially you, illiteracy. I need new music recommendations :(

Only two chapters of Saru Lock. Right now it's in a mini-arc (3 chapters total) and the next 3 chapters after will be another mini-arc before starting the fucking awesome HEAVEN'S CROW arc. The Heaven's Crow arc is a really, really good arc. The best in up to date. By the way, we need editors! Saru Lock is very difficult to edit, so we need editors to increase the release pace.
