So we had a nice release planned up for you guys tonight.

I watched a great hockey game between the Czechs and the Russians while making food this afternoon.

Then there was a rare Canadian athlete who didn't completely choke and actually got a medal (wow!) today. And it was right before the Canada-USA hockey game, it was looking to be a great night.

...Until Team Canada fucking lost to the Yanks.

Fuck.

What a way to completely ruin the mood of the night. I don't even feel that mad, I just feel fucking crushed. A real god damned downer.

So to the Americans reading, congrats on the win. To the Canadians reading, Brodeur is a fraud. And the faster you start understanding this concept, the faster you'll understand that his career has been boosted by playing behind the most defensively stable franchise in NHL history. And no, he isn't the reason behind it.

The Push Man And Other Stories (!Pushman) - A collection of stories by the author of Good-bye and Abandon the Old in Tokyo, Tatsumi Yoshihiro.

So yeah I said we'd have a volume release this weekend, this it won't be happening.

Some of the staff are just really busy with real life stuff and can't be around for now, myself included.

We'll try to finish that volume soon-ish.

Check the post below about needing a Holyland and Full Metal Panic translator because I'd sure like to continue working on those two series. We're also still looking for more cleaners to increase the speed of the releases. If you're interested in that, apply!

So we were supposed to release this yesterday, but delays came and so we're releasing it today. REAL Volume 09 (!Real09 or !Real9) that includes chapters 49-54. We'll see you next year when volume 10 goes for sale.

We're currently looking for a translator for both Holyland and FMP Sigma.

We have no active translators on either series and we're saddened by this. Seriously! Well technically there's someone translating two chapters of Holyland as a favor, but he's not available to translate the series full time because he has other commitments.

I would be willing to work out a joint with another group, as long as your translator(s) is capable and I don't have to worry about iffy translations. Actually, if he can be a Grade B translator with MangaHelper's Translator Rankings I'd be totally down with that.

Because I've bought the raws for Holyland up to volume 14 and I have the raws for FMP Sigma up to volume 10. I really do plan on seeing those through.

So today we have a small release of Boku to Issho with our friends at MangaScreener as usual. We're releasing chapters 26 & 27. Triggers are !Boku26 & !Boku27.

I'd like to thank the people who have taken the time to apply in recent weeks. We appreciate all the help you guys are willing to give us. And so, we are progressing with stuff we thought we would have on the back burner.

We're still looking for a Quality Checker and Editors for various series. It would also be great if we could get a translator for Holyland, since the one we have now is MIA...

So expect a volume release this weekend, and probably (if everything goes well) another volume release next weekend, probably with some chapters in between.

So yeah, it's January 24th and we have some releases.

I'd like to mention;

1- Big thank you to darknova, a new applicant, for helping us out on  these Holyland chapters. Moral of the story is, to increase the speed of releases for our scanlations, we need more staff. And seeing as there have been people applying and actually sticking around, we're getting work done. So, what are you waiting for? Apply! Read point #2.

2- That being said, we need one Typesetter for Shonan Jun'ai Gumi and one Quality Checker, among other things. Because the thing is, we only have a single Typesetter and a single Quality Checker, so we're spread very thin there.

Let's get cracking.

Boku to Issho ch25 (!Boku25) First chapter of the third volume, a joint with MangaScreener per usual.

Holyland ch72-73 (!Holy72 & !Holy73) This concludes the fight between Taka & Yuu, with a sweet looking double page. Hey, those of you who do color pages, color that fucking double and send it to me via email or just link it in this post from tinypic or imageshack.

Idiot Section Chief ch01 (!Idiot01) This is a gag series with the chapters being ~6-8 pages each. We're doing this as a side project, with inconsistent releases.

Shonan Jun'ai Gumi ch82 (!SJG82) Like I said in the other post, now that we have raws, we can work on this series faster. And like I mentioned earlier in this post, we need a typesetter for the series. If you're interested, apply.
